Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Child Custody
Here's the situation. There's a divorce that involves children. Both parents want custodial rights. However the judge is leaning towards something that neither parent is willing to except. So how much time must elapse after the divorce is final, before the non custodial parent can take the custodial parent back to court for rights for the childrens custody. What factors would play a role in winning custody against the first awarded custodial parents? The factors the swayed the judge's decision in the first place? I have never heard of a judge deciding on every other week for parents. It seems like a such a hassle for the kids when the parents live far from each other. SChool, activities, etc.

Re: Child Custody
If you are currently represented by legal counsel in the divorce proceedings then you should direct all of your questions to your attorney. Although there is nothing wrong with seeking a second opinion, no other lawyer will know all of the relevant facts. Good luck.
