child custody

i have 5 year old daughter with a women i am not married to. our relationship is over and she says she is moving from missouri to indiana after the school year is over. I know she needs a court order.do i wait till she leaves (without my permission) or do i fille something now?

Are you the legal father of this child? Has there been any court order entered giving you any rights regarding custody or visitation? If so, then the mother should give you the notice required by the relocation statute. If not, you need to get a court order in place immediately.
