Our Child
Okay we recently had a domistic dispute at our residence (VERY fist time) which no charges were filed we have a 1 year old son and my mother HATES my wife now my mother is threating to call DFS on us if we dont turn over custdy of him mind you although i love my mother she is crazy and has destroyed my father what do i do at this point i was thinking a restraining order and i dont have anything to hide from dfs so what should i do?

I do not know what grounds you would have to obtain a restraining order against your mother. As far as the DFS is concerned, if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear. I have seen many cases where someone calls the DFS, a home study or investigation is done, and the DFS dtermines that there is no reason to get involved. Normally, I strongly advise all of my clients to avoid DFS if at all possible, but if they contact you you should definitely make sure that everything is in good shape at home and take the opportunity to show them just how good a situation your child or children are actually in. If your mother continues to call them they will get wise to the real story and everything will be fine.
