Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Get child support if divorce was ''dissolution w/o children''?

My sister got a ''dissolution w/o children'' when she got divorced. But she had a son from that marriage. Is it possible for her to get child support mandated through the state even if her divorce agreement made no mention of a child?

I am very curious as to how your sister could possibly get what you refer to as a "dissolution w/o children" if she had a child with her husband during the marriage. Did your sister file the Petition for Dissolution? If so, did she lie and say that there were no children? Or did the father do so? Either way, it would appear that both of them perpetrated a fraud upon the court unless there is some other explanation. It may be possible to correct this situation, but I would need to know a lot more than your post provides. If this case is in the Eastern half of the state either you or your sister may call me for a free telphone consultation at 314-727-2822. Since it is her case, it would be best for her to obtain legal advice and deal with it.
