Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I was on child support and ended up loosing my job back in 2008. I contacted the child support office to inform them that I lost my job and that I could no longer afford to pay the amount that I was required to pay. At that time I started getting unemployment and over half of my unemployment was going towards child support. Due to the fact that I wasn't able to pay the full amount every month it put me in arrearage. Am I able to have a review of my child support arrearage to see if there was in fact an overpayment?

Yes. You should have requested a Review and Modification of the child support Order as soon as you lost your job. Do so immediately.
