child support question
my son is having his wages garnished for back child support - his ex- had agreed to cutting him slace, as he has had alot of health problesm -serious motor cycle wreck, then another accident -broken back. now that he has found a job, they are taking out so much that he is bringing home less than $100.00. he can't live off that --- his ex has been re-married several times -- their son is now 18. what can he do to get the garnishment lowered? is their an #800 he can call, as he lives in st. louis, mo.

Well, Greg Kessler is certainly looking for some new business, isn't he? In answer to your question, there is no "800 number" that your son can call. There are also not enough facts stated in your question for anyone to assume that your son would be entitled to seek a termination of child support. A competent attorney would have to know all of the pertinent facts before advising your son. There are several distinct possibilities any one of which might be appropriate and would help your son in his current situation. Please consult with an attorney or have your son consult with an attorney.
