Re: child support

Have you been ordered to pay child support by a state agency or by a Judge? If so, then the child support amount was probably figured using Form 14. If you calculate a new figure using Form 14 and the current facts, does it result in more than a 20% difference? If so, then there would be a presumption that the old figure should be modified. This could be done by filing a Motion to Modify the existing Court Order or seeking a review of the existing administrative Order. I would strongly advise using an attorney to obtain the necessary information, do the calculation and advise you of your options. If you are not represented by an attorney, you may call me for a consultation.
