child visitation or custody

my son's girlfriend is in the hospital now in premature labor 2 days ago she wanted him there with her , her family doesn't want him arround , now we went back today they have convinced her to have him barred from the hospital and have moved hed room so he can't find her they are talking about delivering the baby saturday and our family would like to know what legal rights we have now and after the baby gets here
