my children were taken by dfs and an amended petition was fied with the court that I was ever ser ved with the court then held the hearing on this amended petition is this legal

Parents have rights somewhat like property rights in their children. Before that right can be violated by the State, the parent I'd due process. That entails at least sufficient notice, and an opportunity to defend their rights.

If you were not served with the infidel Petition the amended Petition could not.just.be mailed to you, the patent. But, if you were served with the initial Petition, the pro's cutir need only.mail amended Petition or Both ces of hearings to the last address orivudevti the Court, for you.
