childs right and custody issues

My son is 9 yrs. Old. I was divorced for my husband in sept. 2001. We got joint custody with him getting primary, which i still dont understand til this day. He purgered himself 3 times on the stand while he was testifying during the divorce proceedings and we proved it, but nothing was done about it.He made false allegations hot line call the same day he filed for divorce and for temp. Custody. My son hates living with him , their house is filthy, as in you can barely walk through , he doesnt know if their clothes are clean because they are piled all over the furniture. He's hardly ever home with my son. He keeps him out past 100:00pm at night on school nights. My son is doing terrible in school. He was diagnoised with adhd when he first started school and my exhusband refuses to give him the dosage of medicine that the dr. Has prescribed.What really also bothers my son is he cant be at ''home'' with me and his brother and sister ( whos from a previous relationship). I have no money to pay an attorney, but is there any organation or ideas that you might have to help me give my son a life again?

My advice would be for you to borrow the money needed to hire the best available attorney and file a Motion seeking a transfer of primary physical custody of your son. You can always repay the money you borrow, but you will never be able to get back any of the years that go by with your son living under these adverse conditions. Good luck.
