One standard way to enforce the terms of a Judgment is to file a Motion for Contempt. Normally, the Judge issues a Show Cause Order which is served upon the person who is not performing as ordered by the judgment and requires that person to appear in court. Of course, an attorney could not give you any specific advice without reviewing your judgment and your separation agreement if there was one. But, generally speaking, you would make demand upon your ex for his or her share of the expense. If your ex is able to pay, but chooses not to do so, then you could proceed with the court action.
