Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

College payments

My son is on track to complete his BS degree within four years of graduation from high school. He will turn 22 in October at the beginning of his senior year. Because of scholarships, Pell grant, and community college, my ex and I are splitting the cost for only the last 4 semesters of his college. Our separation agreement states that we are obligated for up to 8 semesters. Does Missouri law allow my ex to stop paying for college in October when my son turns 22?

Re: College payments

Child support stops at twenty-two. Your legal documents will tell you if the obligation to pay college expenses is limited.
