my ex is contesting my relocation. i am wanting to move 26 miles away with no change in the custody or visitation that is set. can i still move until this goes to court or is settled?

If you do, the court can consider it in determing whether to change the existing custody terms. I would definitely advise against moving if the other parent has objected to a proper Notice of Relocation under the statutes.
