Credit Card Debt

My fathers wife walked out on him and he then found out that she had ran up a bunch of credit card debt in the area of $100,000. His name is not on any of these cards but we would like to know if he is responsible for this debt?

Generally speaking, the answer is no. A spouse is not necessarily legally responsible for another spouse's debts under these circumstances.
