Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My current spouse and I have been seperated and going thru a divorce for almost three years. It is suppose to be finalized on April 30th. I am in another relationship and expecting a new baby in the next few days. I understand that the father of this baby will have to do an affadavit so that he can be legally deemed the father. What I need to know is what about my husband, since baby will arrive before we are divorced, will there be anything that he will have to sign off on?

If the baby is born before the dissolution is entered, then your husband is legally presumed to be the father. The biological father would have to be made a party to the lawsuit and legally determined to be the child's father by the court. Be sure to talk to your attorney about this!
