Custodial parent moved out of state and left child with non-custodial parent. How long before non-custodial parent can get child support stopped?

You should be able to move for a reduction or reversal after three months.

I would file a Motion to Terminate Child support immediately. You may be able to do this on your own by going to the Circuit Clerk's website or office in the County where your child support Order was entered or registered. Sometimes, it is better to hire an attorney to handle this type of thing i you can afford the attorney's fees. I the other parent consents, is should not take too long, and if not, the case will be scheduled for a trial as soon as the law allows.
