Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Custody Agreement
Mother and I were never married
and we have 1 child. We have an
agreement on visitation and child
support. Do we have to file a
''determination of paternity'' or is
there something else we can do to
make it legal?

Re: Custody Agreement
You need to file a Petition with the Court in order for you to have any legal rights at all. If you do not already have an attorney, you may call me for a free telephone conference. I have handled hundreds of these situtations in the thirty years I have been practicing law.
