If both parents agree, they can give you at least temporaruy custody of the child, so you can take care of it, and get medical treatment, etc. If you are looking to do something more permanent, you can Petition to adopt the child. In between is a PEtition to have minor guardiaship/ conservatorship established through the Probate court of the county where the child or parents reside.
