How do I get custody of my sister?
My 13 yr old sister lives with our mom and dad. There are no police reports of my sister being physically abuse. But there are several police reports on my parents for domestic abuse. Just last Easter for example, my dad raped my mom in front of my sister. My parents physically and mentally abuse each other in front of my sister all the time. My mom also has mental problems, and has been admitted to a psyciatric ward in the past but left before she could be helped. I think this is an unfit living environment. I'm 20 and have a two bedroom apt with my fiance. We both have jobs and could easily support her. What are the chances of me getting custody over my sister since there are not police reports of her being physically abused?

Yoursw is avery dificult situation. If you truly feel that the enviornment is unsafe for your sister, you could call DFS and report the incidences as they occur. Let them know thqt you are willing and able to care for her during any investigation period.
Have you discussed your proposal with your parents? With your sister? Perhaps this could be done informallyh by agreement.
