Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
custody
I was wondering what is the likely hood of my son's biological father getting custody if I am a full time student with a steady job (I've been there since september '08) I average around thirty hours a week. I live with my boyfriend of over a year. My son had his own room and a fenced in backyard. My mother is his babysitter when I am at school and work. His biological father has never attempted to see him and my son will be two July 18th. The biological father is on probation for minor theft and has multiple trafic tickets. So what is the possibility of him getting any kind of custody or visitation rights.

Re: custody
If the biological father seeks a Court Order it is very likely that he will be awarded at least substantial rights of visitation. The law presumes that it is in the best interest of a minor child to have substantial and meaningful time with each parent. It is impossible to say whether the biological father would prevail if he sought full custody based upon the limited facts you have provided.
