I Want to get custody of my 16 year old daughter. My questions are:

What forms do I need to get the custody changed?

How do I get the forms submitted?

How do I get on the docket?

You do not provide enough information for an attorney to be able to provide any type of response. From your questions it appears that you want to handle this on your own by filling in forms. I would suggest to you that the custody of a child must be one of the most important legal issues that exists in our system. It would appear to me that it would be unwise to try to accomplish this extremely important task without the help of an experienced professional. Although everyone has the legal right to represent himself or herself in court, it is not always best that they attempt to do so. Everyone also has the right to treat himself or herself for medical problems and there are plenty of examples where doing so would not make sense. I strongly suggeest that you consult with an attorney. No matter what you decide to do, for your child's sake as well as your own, please consider my advice. Good luck.
