Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My dad gave me a vechile, in front of several witnesses. I've had the vechile approximately 15 months. Now he's mad at me and wants it back. I never had him sing the title over to me due to going thru a divorce at the time. Do I have any legal right to the vechile?

If you have put money into repairs or improvement of the vehicle, you might have a way of holding the car until you are recompensed. But, unless the witnesses will provide affidavits and testify at trial, you may not be able to withstand your father's suit against you. That is assuming that he won't admit tgat he gave it, rather than lent it to you.
Can you make up with him? Perhaps you can buy it from him. Smoothing things might be your best option. You may have to apologize for something were you feel you did nothing wrong, but has obviously upset him. If you have your father nothing in return for the 15 month use of the vehicle, and can't bring yourself to appease him, it may be best to return the vehicle.
Good luck
Yes, but you will have to sue to enforce the gift.
