Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Can my daughter get a divorce in Montana even thought she was married in Missouri? She is also an enrolled member of the Ft Peck reservation in Montana.

I will not be able to fully explain yoru daughter's option s in tribal court. But, in civil court, she may file for divorce where she resides, although some states have residency periods such as 30-180 days. She will want to consult directly with an attorney licensed to practice in Montana. But, generally, the state in which somone got married doe snto prevent them from getting divorced in another. If there are children of the marriage, that could affect where the parenting plan and custody Orders may be entered.
Good luck
