Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My daughter was molested in my wife's home. We are separated and man who did this was/is my ex's new boyfriend. We had him arrested after we found out what happened. Since then i have filed divorce papers and for full custody. I found out two days ago that the man who was touching my daughter was released because her mother(my ex) recanted her statement while in court over the protection order. My ex and this guy have since gotten back together and his Mother is paying for her lawyer to fight for custody in court. my question is simply could this be conflict of interest on her lawyers behalf?

I see no conflict of interest for the attorney.

Have you considered filing a civil lawsuit on behalf of your daughter against the abuser ?
