Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
I am dealing with a family who is attempting to contact their family attourney in order to request a DNA test for my unborn child. I am planning on terminating the pregnancy tomorrow (I'm 7 weeks). Would there be any way for the family to press charges or prosecute me for anything?

If it is not too late, you may be subjecting yourself to a civil suit form the biological father. Few "parental rights of the father of the fetus" cases have been successful, but that seems to be coming. Hopefully, you are nto seeking an abortion out of fear or for convenience. There are myriad of agencies and organizations that assist unwed pregnant women. Embrassment, and fear of loss of freedom / dream-seeking are no longer valid reasons to terminate in 2010.
