Debt Responsibility regarding a divorce

When my husband and I divorced we both assumed some of the debt. It has been three and 1/2 years since our divorce and he has failed to take certain loans( home loan & a home equity line of credit) out of my name which in the divorce decree are his responsibility. It is now effecting my credit. What can I do about this?

It may be possible for you to file a Motion for Contempt and have your ex brought into court to explain why the judge should not hold him in contempt for refusing to obey a court order. If you are not already represented by legal counsel, you may call me at the offfice for a consultation.
