Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My divorce agreement states that child support ends at age 18. We live in Alaska and the divorce was obtained here. My son and his mother are moving to MO. She will try to extend the child support through MO. Can she get the child support Or medical coverage extended if the legal agreement was made in Alaska?

If the child is a resident of Missouri, the child support may be extended past eighteen, if the child is still in school, and not emancipated. With full time college, it could go to 22. If the mother does not seek a new Custody and Support Order prior to te child turnign 18, it will be tougher for her to get an extension/amendment. She might have to file a whole new case.
Good luck
