Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I'm in a divorce. Basically, I married a man that I thought was a hard working guy who needed a brake and to give him health insurance through my company. I still had young kids and he had a house full of grown kids from 2 prior marriages that were a mess. We didn't live together for the first 6 years, totally separate taxes, bills, etc. I just paid for his insurance out of my check. Married in 2004, moved in together in 2010, I left him in 2014. Come to find out, he has been worthless most of his life but he's delusion and sees himself as a nice guy. The rest of the world doesn't.

We took out a HELOC on our house and it got run up to $80K which he swears is all mine. The statements prove that he was basically living on it for the 4 years prior to my moving in with him. He took early retirement as soon as he turned 62 but his last 25 years of Social Security statements show that he worked part-time or not at all most of those years. There are 4 of the 25 years when his income exceeded $20,000.

Now the judge is saying that regardless of the fact that we have no mutual children and I paid for everything during the 4 years I lived with him, he gets half of the marital portion of my pension and 401k. How can that possibly be right?
