In most cases, a divorce decree does not affect athird party creditor from filing suit or ohterwise pursuing a co-debtor for the debt. If he gets behid, they (credit card company) can come after you for payment, and you can sue your husband for repayment to you. If he files for bankruptcy, that leaves just you for the credit card company to come after.
Good luck
