Re: self divorce kits

In my opinion, "self divorce kits" should not be used. The legal rights and duties of your wife and yourself are far too important to depend upon some forms drawn up by someone who is not an attorney. Although you may be able to complete the forms and perhaps even obtain a court Order granting you a dissolution of marriage, there may be problems which arise in the future as a result of your use of this"kit" which would in all liklihood be avoided if you use legal counsel. I don't go to a doctor when I have a cold, but I wouldn't even think about performing surgery on myself. A simple non-contested divorce shouldn't cost you a great deal of money. Please call some attorneys in your area and inquire before taking any action on your own.
