In the state of Missouri I was awarded a large lump sum in a divorce. Can I attach a lien to real estate of the party who has failed to pay.

You may apply a judgment lien. but, they are poor means of collecting where there is prior ,mortgage or other liens. You may also execute against wages, bank accounts and other assets of the judgment debtor.
