Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Divorce -US/CANADA ISSUE
My wife has been deserted and cheated on me. Now after a while I got over it and interested in marrying again but not in US but in Canada. The girl lives in Canada. Can I get married to her without getting my divorce offcially in US? and If not then how long does it take to get divorce with no contact of spouse at all?

You will need to get a MO divorce. You can serve your wife by publication if you are not seeking money or custody of children from her. Feel free to contact me I have 33 years of domestic law experience. I am located in Clayton.

I do not know anything about Canadian law, but I can tell you that if you marry someone while you are still married you will be committing bigamy and the second marriage will be void under Missouri law. So, you do need to obtain a divorce and you can serve the wife by publication if you do not know where she is. I would warn you against hiring an attorney who only posts "answers" to this list soliciting new clients.
