Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I need to get divorced. My wife cheats steals and lies to me and my children. She has openly admitted to these things. When she is home the stress level goes up and I do not feel it is good for my children. The problem is she threatens to steal my children while I am not here and take them to Florida. I do not trust her with the kids and the oldest who is 13 doesn't want anything to do with her. Does she have the right to take my children out of state? Also I have found out that she has stolen some of my medication and sold it. I am disabled due to a surgery gone wrong and I signed a letter stating that my medication can be dangerous if in the wrong hands. Can I press charges against her for stealing my narcotic pain medicine and selling it to people?

You need to consult with an attorney about filing for a dissolution of marriage. As far as reporting her illegal activity to the police, I believ that you have every right to do so, but you should consider what impact this might haveon your children. As far as your wife moving with the children, I would say that she has the same rights concerning the children as you do and you may consider filing for a Child Protection Order or some other type of legal restriction in order to prevent her from relocating out of state with the children.
