Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My eldest child was removed from my home in January due to his behaviors. Since then, we (I and my legally separated husband) have complied with everything asked. As of late, my caseworker has failed to schedule/keep the monthly appts, hasn't returned calls/emails in a timely fashion, and hasn't kept me informed of progress in the case. On 8/7/15, she stated that my (legally separated)husband has a NON-VIOLENT f-t-a warrant for a traffic violation before reintergration was considered, as well as a full background check being completed on us both. My question is: How does a f-t-a for a traffic ticket constitute delaying the reintergration process? He does not primarily reside at the same residence. We are working on our marital issues, during which, he helps with my children when I work. Can we fight this decision?

If you have not already done so, you need to hire an attorney to represent your interest in this matter. Missouri has one of the toughest reunification process in the country. If the child has been in the system fur right months, you need an survey to move the process your way. If you don't get your child backwithin the next six months, they'll start looking for someone to sit him. At the least, you need to consult directly with a family law attorney, in your area. Take all the paperwork you have with you. If you can't afford to hire an attorney, ask the Judge to appoint one for you.
