Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
well let me explain the situation. My daughter lives In Ga. Her little girl is 5 years old. She got into trouble and had to go to rehab. She let her 5 year old go to Tennessee to see her dad, His sister was babysitting her while he went to some orientation and she went to the courts and told them that she had no body to take care of her that her family didn't want her. The judge granted her emergency custody (by her lies she told) No one knew that this was going on. My son who had a notarized statement from my daughter giving him temporary custody until she was done with treatment. So when he showed up to get her from TN where she was just visiting her non-custodial father, the aunt showed him the papers and wouldn't hand her over. So the police was called and they made him leave. He went right up to the court house and was told he would have to go to court. So he did that and proved that the woman had lost her own children. So during court she handed custody over to her neighbor and the judge permitted it. My granddaughter didn't even know Them. So my question is how can Tennessee give custody to someone who lying to get custody. There has never been child endangerment or neglect. also she has never been a resident of Tennessee. So they took her over Ga's jurisdiction and put her in Tennessee. my other daughter has filed a petition and paid a lawyer 3000 dollars over 2 months ago and still we have no court date. i don't know what can be done about getting her back into my sons and families care.

Unless there is already a Missouri custody Order, this is a question of GA or TN law. You posted this as a Missouri question. Perhaps if you repost, you can get a useful information.
Good luck
