Given that your child's mother may have been convicted of child endangerment, you may have good cause to Seek a modification of the custody (and possibly support) Orders regarding your child. If you do nothng, DFS or the court may remove your child to foster care,as they may assue you do not want the child, if you do nothing after hearing about the suspicion of abuse to the other child. Consult directly with a family law attorney in your area about the specific aspects of your child's situation. Many offer a low cost or free initial consultation. They can ask you foolow-up questions and help you assess the best option for you and your child.

Good luck
