Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Failure to Comply

In our divorce decree...it states that my ex-spouse

would keep a $100,000 and a $50,000 life insurance

policy on himself with the kids being the beneficiaries.

We did this so that thehave a guaranteed

inheritance...The children are now 24, 22, and 20.

He changed this to his new wife's name a few years it

the kids as contingents. Is't this illegal? Also...I have a

need to know if room and board includes food as a

college expense?

Re: Failure to Comply

I would need to see your Divorce Decree, or Family Court Judgment, and the exact terms of the Orders against your ex to give you any competent legal advice. Generally speaking, the requirement to share in college expenses does include "food" within the term "room and board". If you are located in the Eastern half of the state I might be able to help you. If you would like a free telephone consultation you may call me at 314-727-2822.
