Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
The father of my baby has not been around since i was pregnant with her. She is a month old and he has not tried to see her, has not paid a penny for anything, and has not made any contact with me. how long before he gives up his parental rights to her? Please Help..

Assuming that paternity is not an issue, his prental rights and responsiblities will generally continue until she is eighteen years old. She may be able to make a claim against his probate estate many years after that. This could change if a court takes some action such as adoption by another man, or something of that sort.
