Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

The father listed on my sons birth certificate is not his biological father how do I get his name removed and change my sons last name?

I am curious as to how this state of affairs came to be. In any event, you would have to file a Petition seeking a Court Order to correct this situation, determine the legal paternity issue and correct the birth certificate.
