Do a father has rights if he isnt married to the mother

Fathers have rights and responsiblities the same or greater than when they are married to the mother. You can seek a court Order for visitation and allotment of claiming the child as a dependent for tax purposes. The father can also be made to contribute toward the rearing of the child by paying child support to the mother, if she has primary custody, or for college or medical expenses.
