Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I want to file for custody of my son. 6 years ago I agreed to let him live with his father due to his inability to handle female authority figures. Since then I have been getting him medical treatment and we've come along way. Now I've found out that his father keeps moving, can't pay his bills, and goes from one woman to the next. He is pursuing more child support from me just to pay his bills. I feel this environment is not healthy for my son and need help. What are my chances? Do I even have a leg to stand on?

If the conditions of the child have changed, and there is a significant disparity between the hoem envionment that you and the father can provide, then you may have worthwhile grounds to seek a change in custody. Consutl directly with a family law atorney in your area for amore dtaiel danylisis of yrou situation. Let me know, what parts of the state you and your child are in, if you need a referral.

Good luck
