Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I filed for contempt and modification of child support as my ex is lying about his assets and income. He has refused to reimvurse me for dental fees for over 9 months. Yesterday I received a letter stating that my ex's attorney has requested an additional 30 days to file responsive pleadings. What does this mean?

It apparently means that your ex has requested thirty more days in which to file his reponse to your Motion. If it was due on the first of May, the Court may give him until May 31st to get it filed. These are common.
