Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I found out today that my daughter was removed from my ex's custody due to a meth lab as well as child endangerment back in July of 2011. I was never notified about it but I have contacted DFS in Missouri as well as child support offices in both Missouri and Arkansas. I have been searching for the where abouts of my daughter and her mother for close to 9 years now and this is the first I have heard about her. I have a good job as well as a stable home and I want what is best for my daughter even though she does not know me.

If you have been playing child support, supposedly they had your address or place of employment

If not, it might be a bit tougher. If your daughter was removed by the state of Missouri, you should consult directly with legal counsel in the area where your daughter was removed. If you let me know which county took her,I might be able to refer someone. If she was removed in Arkansas, you should consult directly with counsel there.
