Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

can anyone tell me about Fresh Start Alternative Divorce Services, LLC in St Charles , Mo. or places like them. my husband filed for a legal separation through them we will be working on the agreement to be filed in about 30 days as the respondent should i still seek an outside lawyer to protect my rights?

You should hire independent legal counsel, if there is one word of the agreement(s) that you do not understand, or do not understand why it is there. You should at least have an attorn ey look over the proposed agreement, before signing anything. Theyn are HIS attorneys, not YOURS,

You should definitely hire your own attorney. It is inherently unfair for one side to be represented while the other side is not. BTW, the very name "Fresh Start Alternative Divorce Services, LLC" should put you on notice that this is a BUSINESS attempting to make money through a marketing scheme. Hopefully there is a competent licensed attorney involved,but still, a traditional, experienced, professional, personal attorney will in most cases be more concerned with you as an individual human being, not as one of numerous "customers", and better able to protect your legal rights. By all means, be absolutely sure to hire an attorney.
