Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I have full custody of my daughter. My ex has only supervised visitation, which he has not exercised in almost 4 years, though he does pay child support. I have to move to Texas within the month, or be homeless. Since he has not notified me of his location or any contact information, am I required to try to track him down and actually ask his permission to move a a child he doesn't want anything to do with, or can I just move? Tim is essential, and if I wait too long, we will be homeless!

If everything you stated is accurate, it appears that you may move. If your ex has been paying support, then there may be a way to let him know about the move. You will have to let someone know in order to continue obtaining the support money.

Good luck
