Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
I gave my ex-husband 60 days notice of my intent to relocate. He moved away from our children over 4 years ago and hasn't seen them since. If he chooses to contest the move and files beyond the 30 days will the courts agree or is the 30 days filing period firm?

Based upon the few facts that you provided, it didn't sound like you have to worry about not being able to move within the United States. You're obligated to give the notice, but the other spouse doesn't have veto power. All he can do is ibjectb through the Court. If he moved away, he would have few grounds upon which to contest your move. But, you only provided a few facts here,. Do, you should consult with the attorney that represented you in the Custody portion of your case. It, you could consult directly with a family law attorney in the area, before you move.
Good luck
The date is firm, I don't believe the court can extend it.
