Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Gifts from Married Estate

My wife has several pieces of expensive jewelry which I gave her as a gift. This jewelry represents over half of our estate. She says it is her right to give it to anyone she chooses because it is her personal property and not part of our estate. I feel it is part of OUR estate and I have a legal right to have a say in who gets what from our estate including the jewelry.

A gift is a gift is a gift! You said yourself that you gave this jewelry to your wife as a gift. This makes the jewelry hers to do with whatever she wants.
