Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

my girlfriend and I have been together 20 years she now wants to end the relationship and move out and take our 16 year old daughter who dosent want to go,we have never filed any custody papers can my daughter refuse her and stay with me?

Under teh facts you described, your daughter may shoose which parent she wants to live with until a court issues a Custody Order.
