my girlfriends dad was ordered to pay 500 a month in support in 01 he took off and never paid he is currently on probation in kansas but has an interstate compact and i cant find him how would she go about getting the arrears she is now 19

The support is owed to the other parent. Mom may seek out the oeverdue payments from him. The daughter may be able to help locate him. If the daughter is in college, she may seek support directly from her father. It doe snto sound like this will have much success, given the situation you described of him. However, there may be more assets than you realize. Have her consult direclty with an attorney in her area that is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas.
