health insurance

I am anticipating a divorce and have health insurance through my husband's employer, GM, for 11 1/2 years. I was told he would have to continue to insurance me. Is this true?

He can not cancel your coverage during any divorce proceedings, and you will have certain rights undr COBRA to maintain the insurance for a period of time or replace it. Your husband might be responsible for maintenance depending upon various factors. You should consult with an attorney.
